THE STORY BEHIND ULTIMATE GREENZONE®
Launched in 2001, this product provides a buffet of nutrition. Flax seed has been cultivated for thousands of years. King Charlemagne made laws requiring his people to eat flax! This seed has also been part of Ayurvedic medicine. The list of flax’s traditional health benefits includes respiratory health, constipation, memory, concentration, skin health and cough. Ch-ch-ch chia seeds, another tiny but vital ingredient in this blend, are part of the mint family. They grew originally in Guatemala and Mexico and served as Aztec and Mayan fare. Chia seeds, now found all over North and South America, provide an excellent source of energy. Alfalfa came to us from Eurasia as a crop for cattle. This dark green plant with small, purplish flowers was traditionally used for the urinary system. Its nickname Purple Medick no doubt is a nod to its colorful flowers and its Latin name Medicago sativa. Alfalfa provides cleansing chlorophyll, antioxidants and vitamin C.
