Excessively loose, watery, and frequent bowel movements indicate that the bowels are attempting to rid themselves of toxic irritants.

The most effective natural treatment for this condition is to use agents that absorb toxins in the digestive tract. Psyllium Hulls Combination, LOCLO, and Nature's Three are a few examples. For severe diarrhea, activated charcoal is the best choice. Be careful not to use too much of this product, however, as it is so effective it can actually cause constipation. Slick elm or marshmallow are effective remedies for infant diarrhea.
