HOT FLASHES
Hot flashes are a complicated menopausal symptom. An initial sensation of discomfort is followed by the sensation of heat moving towards the head. The face turns red, followed by sweating and fatigue. Hot flashes are typically caused by a clogged liver and underactive adrenal glands. It's not so much a problem with low estrogen as it is with fluctuations in estrogen levels. The key is to use natural remedies to help modulate estrogen levels.
To control hot flashes, essential oils can stimulate the hypothalamus and help to regulate hormonal levels. Mix 10 drops of clary sage oil, 10 drops of germanium oil, and 5 drops of lemon oil into 5 teaspoons of flax seed oil and massage this mixture on the abdomen to relieve hot flashes.
A hydrosol spray for cooling hot flashes can also be made by combining rose and peppermint essential oils in a glass spray bottle with a little purified or distilled water. To help cool hot flashes, shake well and mist the area around the face (with your eyes closed).
Hot flashes could be relieved by any of the following remedies.
